The Community of Harehills has insisted the need for a sports centre or a sports facility for many years, but up until now this has fallen on deaf ears.
Studies show that Heart and healthproblems are directly linked to lack of exercise and sports participation, and unfortunately the south Asian community is at the forefront of this study.
The committee at has taken this need on board and created a sports facility that will have a multi surface facility which can deliver cricket, badminton, volleyball, aerobics, indoor hockey, basketball and many more indoor sports. The 5 aside Astro-turf Pitch has a 3rd Generation synthetic playing surface similar to the one used at Goals soccer centres.
